THE 30-SECOND BRIEF
Deemston Borough is considering installing Starlink internet access in the Borough building and Hastings Road Building using LSA grant funds. The agenda specifies Starlink as the service but does not detail installation, networking hardware, or internal IT support.
This shows a shift to satellite broadband where IT firms and low-voltage installers can offer internal network design, Wi-Fi, security, and ongoing support around the Starlink service, as well as help with grant documentation and implementation planning.
Listed as “Motion: Install Starlink internet access in the Borough building and Hastings Road Building (LSA grant).”
