From the meeting
Chief Tate said KIPP Memphis brought its industry certification program in-house and is now offering five state-approved certifications: First Aid/CPR, 3D Printing, OSHA 10, Career Readiness, and Python Programming. More than 100 certifications are anticipated in the 2026-27 school year. This is already selected and operating, which makes it useful for follow-on training, curriculum, testing, and certification support.
The minute points to an ongoing implementation need rather than a new procurement.
