THE 30-SECOND BRIEF
Cayuga County Emergency Services will accept a FY25 Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG) from the NYS Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services. The grant will fund efforts to enhance all-hazards preparedness, mitigation, response, and recovery, but the agenda does not spell out the specific projects. Emergency management consultants, training providers, and technology vendors should engage now to understand priorities and propose planning, exercises, equipment, or software solutions that fit EMPG guidelines.
EMPG funding often supports planning, training, exercises, EOC enhancements, and related tools.
