From the meeting
At the October 20, 2026 meeting, staff asked council to allow Royal Rose Productions to film scenes for The Funeral Photographer downtown in November and possibly into December. The plan called for 6 primary shoot days plus 1 reshoot day, with street barriers, restroom access, staging space, and temporary electrical service. Royal Rose Productions would handle traffic control, trash, security, and liability insurance naming the city as additional insured.
The permit was being considered, not yet decided.
