From the meeting
At the October 12, 2026 workshop, the supervisors discussed whether the Zoning Officer should remain full-time instead of part-time. Wade said the position was busy and was fixing filing issues, while Shawn said he needed more information before cutting it to part-time. Tom said a government time study could be done and was asked to check the cost and structure.
The matter remained open for more information.

A pre-RFP is an early indicator that a government agency is planning a purchase — a project discussed in a board meeting, a budget line item, a new hire, or a grant award — captured before a formal RFP or bid is published. Acting on pre-RFPs gives SLED and B2G vendors months of lead time to build relationships and shape requirements.
