From the meeting
At the August 11, 2026 meeting, Kim Bodine gave an update on the OIG audit response and said the organization had developed written procedural instructions for compensated absences. She explained that the pool for accrued leave must be maintained and reconciled annually, and that leave costs are allocated to the grants under which the employee worked when the leave was earned. She also said staff had been trained on the revised policies and procedures.
A fuller presentation would be given at the next Board meeting.
