From the meeting
At its September 9, 2026 meeting, the council gave permission to BEDC to install new highway signs and apply for funding. The work is still at the funding stage, so no vendor or contractor was selected in the minutes. The next commercial step is likely a funded signage project once grant or other support is secured.

Acting on pre-RFPs gives SLED and B2G vendors months of lead time to build relationships and shape requirements.
