From the meeting
At its October 8, 2026 meeting, the board ratified Justin Seltzer as Laborer effective October 18, 2026 and also ratified Richard Schelling as Superintendent of Public Works. The superintendent role was tied to village operations and budget line items, and the mayor said he would be taking over village work. This is a buying trigger for public works planning, equipment, and maintenance priorities under the new superintendent.
