From the meeting
At its October 27, 2026 meeting the board was asked to approve Resolution 26-09 to request up to $2,250,000 from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection's Land Acquisition Trust Fund for land management on District conservation lands. The spend plan covers road and bridge repairs, prescribed burning, invasive plant control, fencing, culvert replacement, and public use facility maintenance. The funding is tied to FY2027 land management work, so the relevant sales window extends beyond the meeting date.
