At its October 26, 2026 meeting, the court approved an Axon contract to replace 2 broken tasers and add 2 additional tasers to inventory. Sheriff Langwell said all tasers were out of warranty and could not be fixed, and that the county had funds in the budget. Craig Jones, County Attorney, had already approved the contracts presented.
The sheriff also said he would look at replacing all tasers next budget session.
