From the meeting
At its October 21, 2026 budget hearing, Evansville Community School District said roofing projects paid for through 2025 hail storm insurance claims were nearly complete, with some metal work remaining. Staff were still monitoring new leaks around wall flashings, HVAC rooftop units, and drains. All of the new heat pumps at the high school, half of the building's heat pumps, were installed and adjustments were being made to fit the new equipment to the older system.
The district also said it had settled with its old insurance company and would replace the south wall and windows on the fieldhouse.
