From the meeting
At its October 20, 2026 meeting the commission adopted Resolution No. 514, which approved the 2026 Levy County Local Mitigation Strategy Update. The plan supports continued eligibility for federal and state hazard mitigation assistance, but it did not itself appropriate City funds or commit money to specific projects.
The adoption was part of the submission chain to the Florida Division of Emergency Management and FEMA.

Acting on pre-RFPs gives SLED and B2G vendors months of lead time to build relationships and shape requirements.
