From the meeting
At its October 14, 2026 meeting, the board approved many 2026-27 Spanish Translation Stipend assignments, most at $1,000 each from September 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027. The district is clearly funding language-access support across schools and special education teams. This is a signal for translation, interpretation, and multilingual family engagement services already in use this school year.

Acting on pre-RFPs gives SLED and B2G vendors months of lead time to build relationships and shape requirements.
