From the meeting
At its October 13, 2026 meeting the Board of Crawford County Commissioners heard that the Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) program was in final closure after a KDHE inspection found no violations. County Counselor Jim Emerson said he would reach out to Triad, with commissioners' permission, to finalize the end of the permit and send any required notice. He also said some non-HHW items still needed to be cleared out of the building.
The board gave permission to contact Triad.
