From the meeting
At its October 12, 2026 meeting, the Village of Scarsdale requested supplemental geotechnical services for a focused groundwater study at the Scarsdale Municipal Pool site. C. proposed a $69,750 study to install wells and piezometers, monitor groundwater for 30 days, and perform slug and pumping tests for the natatorium and year-round bathhouse redesign.
The work is meant to support value engineering and could lead to separate groundwater-control design if warranted.

A pre-RFP is an early indicator that a government agency is planning a purchase — a project discussed in a board meeting, a budget line item, a new hire, or a grant award — captured before a formal RFP or bid is published. Acting on pre-RFPs gives SLED and B2G vendors months of lead time to build relationships and shape requirements.
