From the meeting
At its November 9, 2026 meeting, Council was asked to approve a fireworks display at Festival Plaza on December 12, 2026 for Delta Chi Child Care, through Jeff Sobocan of K&H Fireworks Distributing. The report said the applicant already had the Chief Fire Official permit and still needed Windsor Port Authority approvals, insurance vetting, and a Parks permit. The event also required a temporary road closure on Riverside Drive East.
