From the meeting
At its July 7, 2026 work session, the Town Council reviewed a draft data center ordinance prepared by the Town Attorney. The proposal would limit data centers to Planned Industrial zoning, require rezoning, and add standards for lot size, setbacks, noise, utilities, public notice, decommissioning, and enforcement. The council agreed to keep refining the text before the Planning and Zoning Commission and Town Council hearing process.
The Town Attorney will update the draft after Hall County finalizes its revisions.
