From the meeting
At its August 31, 2026 meeting, the board heard that The Academy was actively considering a partnership with Right at School for after school care because it lacked a Program Supervisor and Site Leader. The provider would handle registration, staff recruiting and hiring, training, and curriculum for aftercare and summer camp. The change could happen at semester, so the decision was still open but the buying need was clear.

A pre-RFP is an early indicator that a government agency is planning a purchase — a project discussed in a board meeting, a budget line item, a new hire, or a grant award — captured before a formal RFP or bid is published. Acting on pre-RFPs gives SLED and B2G vendors months of lead time to build relationships and shape requirements.
