From the meeting
At its August 3, 2026 update, Jones and DeMille Engineering prepared the Town of Interlaken Culinary Water Capital Facilities Plan and Asset Management Plan. The plan said the existing water system had adequate storage and source capacity through buildout, but recommended pressure management and phased pipe replacement because of corrosive soils and prior failures. It identified alternatives including PRVs, a booster pump station, a dedicated waterline, and replacing ductile iron pipe with PVC and corrosion-protected valves and fittings.
The plan was informational and set out future capital needs and costs.
