From the meeting
At its August 17, 2026 meeting, the board approved the Spindale Skate Festival 2026 request for October 17, 2026 at North Slope Skate Park, contingent on insurance and other requirements. The event will involve live music, food trucks, vendors, and community organizations, with organizers handling logistics and cleanup. This is a small but real operating opportunity around event support and vendor coordination.
