From the meeting

At its August 12, 2026 meeting, Council discussed the fire company's Local Share Account (LSA) grant pursuit for an ambulance replacement. The fire company had not finalized the requested amount, but cost ranges discussed were about $260,000 for a used or rechassised ambulance and $400,000 to $425,000 for a new one. Council agreed the Secretary/Treasurer could help prepare application materials before the September 1, 2026 to November 30, 2026 window.

This is still in grant preparation, not an award.
