The District’s prior payment-based Indigent Care Agreement with CHRISTUS Spohn was terminated in 2012, but a 2015 Amended and Restated Membership Agreement now governs ongoing provision of health care services to the Nueces Aid Indigent population without direct District payments. CHRISTUS Spohn submits informational claims so the District can monitor service volume.
