Township Funding Recommended for ClearWater Conservation Easement

The Open Space Preservation Board recommends that Halfmoon Township commit up to $95,120 to partner with ClearWater Conservancy on a permanent conservation easement for the Dreibelbis/Spencer property. The two-year funding commitment would cover up to 50% of the easement cost, capped per acre, and help eliminate remaining lease payment obligations. ClearWater would acquire and manage the easement and oversee transaction and fundraising activities.
