Hidalgo County, Mission sign 2026 library services pact

Hidalgo County approved an Interlocal Cooperation Agreement with the City of Mission effective March 3, 2026, for the City’s library to function as a county library and to provide library services to county residents. The County will allocate annual funding from its General Fund and HCLS will acquire library materials and resources for the Mission library through December 31, 2026.
