Hawai‘i Water Service Operates Honokōhau Ditch System

Following its purchase of Kapalua Water Company in 2021, Hawai‘i Water Service took over daily operations of the Honokōhau Ditch System on behalf of Maui Land & Pineapple Company. The utility implemented key infrastructure improvements including a stoplog and remotely operated gate at Adit 15 and remote-control capabilities at Diversion 770.
