Aberdeen School District 6-1 and Brown County Cooperative Agreement

Aberdeen School District 6-1 and Brown County entered into a cooperative agreement to provide an educational program for youth housed in the Brown County Juvenile Detention Center. The one-year term runs from July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027, with the county supplying classroom space and security while the district provides certified teachers, materials, and equipment. Funding is subject to annual review under the South Dakota Department of Social Services Auxiliary Placement and Tuition program.
