Truist to finance Charles City County Water project

Truist Commercial Equity, Inc. has been awarded a $2.75 million contract for Lease Revenue Bond Anticipation Note, Series 2025B to finance capital improvements in the County, including upgrades, improvements and construction of various water and sewer system facilities. The note will mature no later than December 31, 2031 and the project is to be completed by October 17, 2025

Truist Bank has been awarded a $5.15 million contract by the Township of Charles City, Virginia. The contract involves Taxable Lease Revenue Bond, Series 2025A to reimburse the County for prior capital expenditures, including construction costs for the Fire Station #2 project, multi-use community facilities, and water/sewer projects. The bond will mature no later than December 31, 2041, with a fixed interest rate not exceeding 5.694% per annum.
