Summary
The purpose of this work is to eliminate the existing power pole that serves as the feed line to the Titan facility by replacing the overhead line with a new underground line installation via directional drilling.
The work must be completed in a manner that ensures no power interruption exceeding twenty-four (24) hours. The contractor shall perform a complete utility survey prior to construction and install a new supporting pole for the main line feeding the facility. Upon completion, the affected area will accommodate a new rail spur constructed above the relocated line. The Jacksonville Electric Authority (JEA) will participate in this project and coordinate activities with the selected contractor throughout the duration of the work.
