The bidder must submit a Bid Bond of 5% of the bid. The successful bidder must furnish Labor and Material Bond and a Performance Bond equal to 100% of the bid price, and a Certificate of Insurance. The bidder shall stipulate the amount of time in calendar days required to complete the Work and submit a preliminary Construction Progress Schedule. The contractor shall be responsible for obtaining the Building Permit, which cost will be waived. All other required permits shall be obtained and paid for by the General Contractor or its subcontractors. The successful bidder shall commence work within fourteen (14) days of a written Notice to proceed from the Owner.
