Summary
Iredell County Solid Waste is seeking qualified vendors to bid a Landfill Gas Collection & Control System (GCCS) expansion to meet New Source Performance Standards (NSPS) Subpart XXX. The project includes the purchase of materials and installation of 18 vertical gas extraction wells over Phases 1 through 6, extension of leachate cleanouts, connection to a 12 inch High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) header via smaller diameter HDPE pipe, and an additional 10 vertical landfill gas wells in Phase 5 with gas transmission lines.
Work also involves abandonment and redrilling of nonproducing LFG wells and installing additions like risers and valves. Bidders must be able to work safely in and around active landfill and hauling operations.
