From the meeting
Weston School District presented its 2026-2027 academic and career planning (ACP) program for board approval on September 21, 2026. The plan lays out required grade 6-12 ACP activities, Xello-based career exploration, portfolio work, job shadows, college visits, FAFSA, and Start College Now/ECCP registration. It is a districtwide student support program already being implemented, so the sales value is in curriculum, career-planning software, assessment, and instructional support tied to the school year.

Questions about this project
What is a pre-RFP?
A pre-RFP is an early indicator that a government agency is planning a purchase — a project discussed in a board meeting, a budget line item, a new hire, or a grant award — captured before a formal RFP or bid is published. Acting on pre-RFPs gives SLED and B2G vendors months of lead time to build relationships and shape requirements.
When will Weston School District issue an RFP for this project?
Pre-RFPs typically surface 6–18 months before a formal solicitation is published. Civic IQ tracks Weston School District's meeting records, agendas, and budgets continuously and updates this pre-RFP as the project moves through the buying cycle toward an RFP.
How can vendors engage with Weston School District before the RFP is published?
