From the meeting
Town Mgr. Jeff Fleetwood said the town received two Community Parks and Playgrounds Grants for FY'27. The awards include a $300,500 lighting grant passed through to the county and a $70,500 grant for skateboard park renovation at the Mason Dixon Complex.
He also said the town wants to build another pavilion in front of the skate park. These funded park projects point to follow-on design and construction work.

Questions about this project
What is a pre-RFP?
A pre-RFP is an early indicator that a government agency is planning a purchase — a project discussed in a board meeting, a budget line item, a new hire, or a grant award — captured before a formal RFP or bid is published. Acting on pre-RFPs gives SLED and B2G vendors months of lead time to build relationships and shape requirements.

Pre-RFPs typically surface 6–18 months before a formal solicitation is published. Civic IQ tracks Town of Delmar's meeting records, agendas, and budgets continuously and updates this pre-RFP as the project moves through the buying cycle toward an RFP.
