From the meeting
The Town authorized submission of an entitlement grant application for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds under the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974. The item is a funding request, but the packet does not specify the project scope yet. This matters because CDBG awards often lead to later municipal projects in housing, public facilities, or neighborhood improvements.
The next buyer conversation is around eligible project use if the grant is awarded.
