THE 30-SECOND BRIEF
The Sustainable Revenue and Expense Model calls out Clean Heavy Duty Vehicle (CHDV) grants, EPA grants, utility rebates, IRS tax credits, and other special grants as alternative revenue sources. These are intended to bolster capital funding and sustainability without new taxes. Transportation, fleet, energy, and environmental vendors should view this as a signal that the district is actively seeking grant-backed projects, such as clean buses, facility upgrades, or environmental improvements, and can assist with grant pursuit and implementation.
Grants are referenced as part of a broader alternative revenue strategy rather than specific awarded programs.
