From the meeting
The public works team asked council to begin the Montana Rural Water Apprentice Program starting with wastewater. The packet says there is no cost to the town, and Gina Crowe confirmed the program would provide study books, online courses, conference registration, and lodging for the first year. This is an open workforce-development move tied to wastewater operations, with a clear need for training support and program administration.
The town has not selected a vendor because the apprenticeship process itself is being started.
