The Park undertook a comprehensive effort to improve radio infrastructure because communication gaps and aging equipment were affecting operations. District Ranger Rob Tice worked with Yankee Communication and Whitten's Two-way Services to assess the existing setup. Beginning in early fall 2026, the Togue Pond Gatehouse, Visitor Center, and five campgrounds were to receive new antennas, coaxial cable, tower sections, and radios as needed.
