From the meeting

The October 16, 2026 staff report described proposed revisions to the Traffic and Vehicle Ordinance to define rules for electric bicycles, motor-assisted scooters, and similar devices. The Planning and Zoning Commission had reviewed the draft and recommended adoption of Ordinance No. 145, but the Board had not yet taken final action in the packet.

The draft would require compliance with Texas Transportation Code and allow location-specific restrictions for public safety. Decision state: proposed for Board consideration.
