THE 30-SECOND BRIEF
The LCAP calls for expanding supplemental learning with after‑school and summer tutoring, ideally using ELOP funding and possibly stipends for teachers. They note current in‑school tutoring is effective but limited by time and staffing. This signals a need for structured tutoring programs or third‑party providers who can deliver small‑group literacy and math support in this rural, high‑poverty context.
Parents are open to after‑school/summer tutoring if transportation and scheduling can be worked out.
