THE 30-SECOND BRIEF
Eel River Charter School has replaced online counseling with in‑person, whole‑school weekly Mindfulness and SEL instruction and plans to continue this in 2026‑27. They serve many students with trauma and behavior challenges and want consistent, school‑wide practices. This is a fit for SEL and mental‑health curriculum providers or trainers who can supply structured mindfulness programs and staff training suitable for K‑6.
Chronic absenteeism and emotional stressors are high; SEL is central to their CSI improvement plan.

Questions about this project
What is a pre-RFP?
A pre-RFP is an early indicator that a government agency is planning a purchase — a project discussed in a board meeting, a budget line item, a new hire, or a grant award — captured before a formal RFP or bid is published. Acting on pre-RFPs gives SLED and B2G vendors months of lead time to build relationships and shape requirements.
When will Eel River Charter District issue an RFP for this project?
Pre-RFPs typically surface 6–18 months before a formal solicitation is published. Civic IQ tracks Eel River Charter District's meeting records, agendas, and budgets continuously and updates this pre-RFP as the project moves through the buying cycle toward an RFP.
How can vendors engage with Eel River Charter District before the RFP is published?
