THE 30-SECOND BRIEF
The July 13, 2026 meeting includes a first public hearing on a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) project, led by the Cambria County Redevelopment Authority. This signals early planning for a federally funded community development or infrastructure project in Adams Township, with scope and uses still being shaped. Firms that support CDBG planning, design, compliance, and construction should track this as the township defines eligible activities and prepares applications and bids.
First CDBG hearing often precedes selection of specific activities such as housing rehab, infrastructure, or public facilities.

A pre-RFP is an early indicator that a government agency is planning a purchase — a project discussed in a board meeting, a budget line item, a new hire, or a grant award — captured before a formal RFP or bid is published. Acting on pre-RFPs gives SLED and B2G vendors months of lead time to build relationships and shape requirements.
