From the meeting
The JOC retroactively considered the September 4, 2026 submission of a Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency school mental health grant. The non-competitive grant has a maximum award of $70,000. Funding would cover most of the Social Worker provided through Communities In Schools (CIS), with the balance paid by Perkins Grant funding.
This is a grant-funded staffing signal tied to student mental health and support services.
