From the meeting
The general fund parks budget includes $100,000 for Parks Master Plan in FY2026-27. Notes elsewhere in the budget also state the city is using cash for a $100,000 Parks Master Plan, reinforcing that this planning effort was still a live buying signal as of 2026-08-13. This is a classic pre-RFP consulting lead because the city has identified the planning need and budget before naming a consultant.

Questions about this project
What is a pre-RFP?
A pre-RFP is an early indicator that a government agency is planning a purchase — a project discussed in a board meeting, a budget line item, a new hire, or a grant award — captured before a formal RFP or bid is published. Acting on pre-RFPs gives SLED and B2G vendors months of lead time to build relationships and shape requirements.
