From the meeting
The EOC presented a statewide study of student outcomes across face-to-face, district virtual, hybrid, VirtualSC, out-of-state virtual, and distance learning delivery types for school year 2024-25. The report found lower pass rates and math scores in district virtual and hybrid settings, especially in Algebra 1 and grades 3-8 math. The committee recommended giving particular attention to math and comparing like with like, which points to further analysis and possible program redesign.
