THE 30-SECOND BRIEF
The district will invest around $9,996 for SEL programs, including Character Strong at Crocker and Second Step at elementary schools, plus $1,000 for SEL-related MTSS work and $11,600 for staff well-being and culture activities. They also plan additional PD on trauma-informed practices and are examining the impact of classroom-based SEL lessons. SEL curriculum providers, survey tools, and PD partners can support program alignment, training, and measurement.
Some licenses already in place; they recently added additional Character Strong PD and CPI training; they want to study SEL lesson impact on connectedness.
