From the meeting
The district said its financial literacy reality fairs were piloted successfully at Mountlake Terrace High School in 2025-26. The program is being expanded to four comprehensive high schools in 2026-27. The fairs are delivered through Business and Personal Finance courses with Washington State Employees Credit Union.
This is a live rollout with a defined expansion window and a partner already in place.

What is a pre-RFP?
A pre-RFP is an early indicator that a government agency is planning a purchase — a project discussed in a board meeting, a budget line item, a new hire, or a grant award — captured before a formal RFP or bid is published. Acting on pre-RFPs gives SLED and B2G vendors months of lead time to build relationships and shape requirements.
