THE 30-SECOND BRIEF
The district is authorizing a grant application to the Texas Water Development Board for the Fabens Water Well Project, seeking $4,063,106 with no local match. The General Manager is designated to submit all required documents and pursue funding, with any grant agreement needing future board approval. This sets up a major new water supply project where engineering, construction, and equipment vendors can begin tracking scope, design, and procurement plans as the grant moves forward.
TWDB Water Supply and Infrastructure Grant Program; GM given signatory authority for application materials only, not yet for a grant agreement.
