From the meeting
The county was set to accept the annual Small County Consolidated Solid Waste Management Grant Agreement No. CW131 for $93,750 from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. The grant work plan said the money would fund a 2027 Ford F-350 DRW truck, Wastequip roll-off containers, and recycling supplies for the county landfill and recycling program.
The grant period runs from October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2027, so vendors for the truck, containers, and related supplies may still have follow-on opportunities.
