From the meeting
The county authorized applying for a 2026 Recycling Equipment Grant through the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation for a baler, concrete pad, and canopy. The request is for up to $150,000, and the county committed to the required 10% match of up to $15,000. This is a funding trigger for recycling equipment and site work, not a purchased contract yet.
The packet shows the scope clearly enough for vendors in solid waste equipment and concrete work to track.
