From the meeting
The council agenda scheduled ratification of FAA Airport Improvement Program Grant No. 3-56-0023-027-2026 for the Rawlins Municipal Airport/Harvey Field fuel farm project. The grant would fund about 80% of the planned fuel farm construction, with up to $359,741 in federal money.
A second grant item on the same agenda covered the remaining funding and required signatures by September 17, 2026. The project is already identified, but the grants were still pending the council vote.
