From the meeting
The committee scheduled a hearing on the city street tree maintenance program, including pruning frequency and scheduling, plus management and repair of tree-root damage to sidewalks and public infrastructure. The Department of Public Works, the Bureau of Urban Forestry, and the Urban Forestry Council were asked to report. This is an operational buying signal around tree care and sidewalk repair planning, but no procurement was proposed in the agenda item.

Acting on pre-RFPs gives SLED and B2G vendors months of lead time to build relationships and shape requirements.
